Do your part as we come together to support our community!
The past four summers I have done a charity bike ride to raise money for a different non-profit. We wanted to do our part during the COVID-19 crisis to assist those families and individuals who have been impacted by the shutdown. I know that some children have been especially impacted by not having the meals from school available to them. Allen and Tracy Pickett and I will be riding at least 40 miles on either the Virginia Capital Trail or the West Creek Parkway on May 10th. We are seeking donations to the Chesterfield Food Bank and their Emergency Relief Fund. This money will be used exclusively to provide food for those who need it, and assist with purchasing WiFi hotspots for the children to do their schoolwork.Our goal is to raise at least $5,000. I hope you will join us.
